Special Hazard Design
Building fire detection and alarm systems and fire sprinkler systems do not always meet the performance needs for special occupancies such as computer rooms, vaults, high hazard rooms, research laboratories, and/or manufacturing facilities. Activation of an automatic fire sprinkler system may not be effective in controlling a fire, and may even be detrimental to sensitive equipment. Standard fire detection devices may not be effective in detecting smoke or fire due to the unique arrangement of a room or the combustibility and ignition capabilities within the room.
Reardon Fire Consulting offers a wide range of consulting and design services to provide you with the most efficient and cost effective fire detection and suppression system. Consult with our engineers to determine which system meets your expectations and budgetary needs. Common systems include:
- Clean Agent Suppression Systems
- Carbon Dioxide Systems
- Foam Systems
- Dry Chemical Systems
- Water Mist Systems
- Aspirating Smoke Detection Systems
- UV/IR Detection Systems
- Beam Detection Systems
We keep up to date with current innovations and work closely with manufacturers to ensure you will receive the most suitable system.
